Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo - episode 1 - 15 Jun, 1996

We're introduced to Ryotsu Kankichi as he's riding his bicycle as fast as he can, with reckless abandon, in order to make it to work on time. His job? A police officer in the police box in front of Kameari park in Katsushikaku-ward in Tokyo. However, while upholding the law, he also is constantly coming up with underhanded money-making schemes. As such, he owes a lot of money to the residents of the neighborhood, and despite just receiving his salary for the month, it's time for him to pay up. After paying each of them what he owes them, he's left with only 160 yen. Now he must find some way to survive for the month without any money for food.
