The leader of the Jomsviking band that visited Thors in Iceland pay a Viking commander, Askeladd, to kill Thors while he is travelling to Europe. The young warriors eagerly set sail with Thors, unbeknownst of this newly acquired enemy waiting for them. Thorfinn sneaks aboard his father's ship, eager to see the world.
