There's really not much to say here This is a recap, for a recap it does it's job very well, and it's not boring, which is very nice, but there's really not much to say. It's great to watch if you haven't seen season 1 for a while, and just need the refresher before season 2, like I did, but there's nothing more to say There is no story really, no new story, so that part is NA the art, sound and characters, all still amazing, with some hiccups in all three, but that's nothing out of the ordinary for anime Enjoyment, yeah an 8, I did enjoy it, therecap was direct and to the point, which is very nice Overall a 7, nothing crazy, nothing new, just a recap, pretty good for a recap, but for a recap to get anything higher it needs to do something creative, rather than just telling, tho there are risks, and some recaps that try stuff fail, but yeah, the recap was just a summary, quite nice

Here's a little fun fact to you guys, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is a 2018 Anime, time not only flies, it almost skips you before you realize it. It's been a minute since season one aired, a huge community was built around the fun adventures of our Slime character and with so much happened in the first season alone, it's hard to recall everything chronologically as it happened, but fret not my dude, no need for a whole season rewatch as this 20 minutes long recap does an incredible job as going through every major plot point of the previous season and summarizes everything asit sets up to what follows in the second season. Recap episodes don't have the best reputation for the binge-watching type of audience, however, in rare moments like these, it saves a lot of time and engagements. I recommend giving this one a shot, especially if you're not a recent fan of the show, a lot of info dumped in a bit-size long episode, well-paced and refreshing at the same time.

I quite disliked this episode, honestly. The special is titled "Hinata Sakaguchi"; it's not about or centred on her at all. This is just another recap, with none of the heart that existed in Veldora Nikki to back it up. While that recap episode at least had cute tidbits here and there in seeing Veldora and Ifrit's interactions, this didn't. It's another cut-and-dry recap, and we see barely anything of the character whose namesake it bears. It tells us that she's part of the Church and is studying up on Rimuru because she thinks he caused Shizu's death. And that -- literally about two or three minutesof screentime and dialogue -- is all we get of her. She isn't even the one narrating the recap. Honestly, a fan is better off just pretending this episode isn't there, moving onward without wasting 20 minutes of your time for zero story or character.

This is a recap of Season 1 and a short after-credit preview of what Season 2 will be about - the titular character, Hinata Sakaguchi. This is mainly just another Season 1 recap episode though so not sure what to say about it, I don't think another one was really needed. All in all, this wasn't bad by any means, I did enjoy it, the whole thing just kind of felt like a drawn out teaser, which I guess it kind of was. Not much to say about the story as it is a recap, the art was the exact same as the first season and thesound effects and op/ed were all the same. Nothing has really changed, other than the introduction of a new character.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken: Kanwa - Hinata Sakaguchi You shouldn't even put the name "Hinata Sakaguchi" in the episode name. This Ova is just a bad recap episode, and not even in a good way. (The Veldora Recap version) was far better and more creative. Other than that, there is nothing more to be said here, as one would expect. Among other things, I notice that this anime likes to hold recap scenes / dialogues like no other. In season 2 alone, you see 2-3 more shortened recaps and + these and the dragons Recap Ova, we have almost 5 recaps in 36 episodes, which isstatically impressive and strange. Enjoyment - 2 Overall -3

In short, it's an unnecessary recap episode. At the very least, it's not part of the second season, which would detract from the season's value. The title is misleading - the episode has nothing to do with Hinata Sakaguchi or her backstory, with the exception of thirty second clips at the beginning and end of the episode. I have no other complaints on the content of the story, art, etc., seeing as it's all more or less directly pulled from the first season of the show. The episode's not egregiously terrible, but it's completely unnecessary and adds nothing of value to the series as awhole. Production studios should really stop making recap episodes for single seasons of anime - I think potential viewers of the second season can be expected to watch the first season first. I wish I hadn't seen it at all.
