Chrysa is a recurring character who appeared in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. She is one of Professor Cerise's assistants. Before becoming a researcher, Chrysa attended a university, where she met Kiley, as revealed in On Land, In the Sea, and to the Future! (JN063). In Memories of a Warming Kindness! (JN057), it was revealed that Chrysa was quite insecure when she became a researcher. One day, prior to a conference she had to attend to present her research, she lost the research data, leading to her unable to deliver the presentation. This incident left her depressed until later, she ended up meeting a Psyduck, who had given his scarf to her, and his Trainer. After returning back the scarf to the Duck Pokemon, the three made a snowman and had a snowball fight before taking a photo. This meeting ended up making her forget about her insecurity and move on with her goals, with the photo being kept in Chrysa's house, used to motivate herself whenever she was feeling down.
